Session Overview

Held during the Milken Global Conference, THE NAT brought together 65 guests at Darling in West Hollywood for an evening built around food, storytelling and film rather than panels. Chef Sean Brock cooked a live-fire, family-style menu rooted in heritage ingredients and regenerative principles, framing conversations on food systems moderated across three themes — Food Under Threat, Innovation in Practice, and Capital as a Catalyst — with speakers including Patricia Zurita of Conservation International. Hosted by Dr. Tom Buttgenbach and supported by 1st Avenue Capital and Sun Valley Forum, the night made the case for nature as core infrastructure, and for capital to shift from extraction to stewardship.
